About CEC Old Barn Art School
CEC Old Barn Art School is a nature-inspired creative arts program where young artists discover creativity through hands-on exploration, professional instruction, and meaningful artistic experiences. Nestled inside the historic barn at Canyonside Equestrian Center, our classes encourage curiosity, craftsmanship, and a lasting connection to the natural world in one of San Diego's most unique learning environments.

Class Details
We are currently, we’re offering one class per week, with plans to add additional class days as the program grows.
AGES 7-12
Designed for young artists to explore, create and express.
CLASS SCHEDULE
1.5 hr class
One day a week on Tuesdays form 3-4:30pm
for 6 weeks (skip holiday weeks)
$210 total ($35/hr & includes materials)
NATURE BASED
We draw inspiration from the natural world around us—plants, animals, textures, seasons and more.
REAL ART
Students work with quality materials to build real skills and creative confidence.
WORKSHOP & INDIVIDUAL CLASS PROJECT
Each class includes guided instruction plus time for individual project creation.
